Julie and Julia (12A)
Monday 11h January
Comedy
An utterly delicious and excellent film – “a recipe to change your life”. Two parallel stories about two women: One the= celebrity cook Julia Child (Meryl Streep)  and one a bored housewife (Amy Adams from Miss Pettigrew and Doubt) who
never meet but whose destinies interact through a cookery book.
Cancelled due to the bad weather.

Bright Star (PG)
Monday 8th February
Period Drama Writer/Director Jane Campion’s acclaimed, ravishingly beautiful film of the love affair between Fanny Brawne and John Keats, cut short by the poet’s death at the age of 25. Utterly romantic, beautifully made, with an outstanding performance by Abbie Cornish and with Ben Whishaw as Keats in the lead roles. This was a huge success atCannes this year.
